NYFW Spring 2012: Rag & Bone

Upon seeing Rag & Bone's 90's-surf inspired collection yesterday, I couldn't help but wonder if reactivating my email address 'suferchick_1234@hotmail.com' was jumping the gun. After successfully nailing bold colours in seasons passed, it comes as no surprise that Rag & Bone played it safe by further developing their colour palette to introduce fluorescent orange and mustard yellows. Each look continued to embrace the layer effect, as each piece was piled upon another. Although we may boil wearing this many layers in the peak of Australian summer, I'd more than happily do so in an attempt to replicate one of these looks. In particular, look number 3, where tweed on plastic like leather has never been so appealing.

  2. And there are the designer's bold orange. Love the tailoring, as per usual. Not helping my homesickness for my island origins, though <3
