Split to the Max

After posting the maxi-slit mystery girl (here), I couldn't get the idea of a splitted maxi-skirt out of my mind. Around the same time as the 'On the Street' post, I had spied a tangerine slitted maxi-skirt at Sass & Bide. Although, I was well convinced that such a vibrant coloured skirt at this time of year was over confident of me. I didn't own anything even half as bright as this skirt because in truth, for someone who claims to be colour crazy, I own very little of it! To cut the long story short, a few Friday evenings ago I was under the pump to produce an outfit and after the old faithful picture message to my most trusted critic, I convinced myself to buy the skirt on impulse. Teamed with Jeffrey Campbell's and a black tank, my personal fear of wearing colour was overcome. Now I'm just waiting for it to heat up so I can wear it with leather sandals and a white boyfriend tee!
