Ten out of ten

Since I first caught a glimpse of Dion Lee's latest Spring/Summer collection on Jak & Jil, I've seriously struggled to string together a comprehendible sentence. Like every other great collection before it, it's almost impossible to pin point exactly where to begin when reviewing Dion Lee's 2010 Spring/Summer collection that was revealed to fashion's elite last Thursday at the Sydney Opera House as a part of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. The collection boasts of pretty pastels, paint like prints, soft pleating and perfectly refined tailoring that's enough to make you drool. The integration of black contrasts perfectly with the softer pastel colours and adds a sense of sophistication to Lee's minimalistic style. Many of the looks were also complemented by furturistic jewelry pieces including heavy statement necklaces and bulky rings. Time to start saving? I think so. I don't even want to think about what the waiting list for one of those dresses would be like!
